kit is very easy to carry
and weighs only ounces.
When the basic kit
is not enough, Wilderness
Adventures can create custom
kits to fit any need. For
example, kits can be created
for those outdoors enthusiasts
who are primarily hikers,
fishers, or basic campers.
The basic kit is expanded
to include items that may
fit your situation or environment.
The best preparation
for a survival situation
is knowledge.
Training
& Education
Wilderness
Adventures wants you to
be prepared for any situation
that you may encounter.
Survival skills are
important and can allow
you to adapt if you have
materials in your possession,
or whether you have nothing
and are relying on the resources
of nature. The outdoors
can be a wonderful, fun
and relaxing place, however,
it can also be a very dangerous
place if you are not knowledgeable.
We offer
two types of wilderness
survival training. The
first is our most basic
instruction, and includes
literature and materials
on several key methods.
Many of these tips
are available on-line and
through our monthly newsletter.
To supplement this
instruction, we offer a
Survival
Manual on CD-ROM or
in written form. This
Survival Manual is an
indispensable resource that
includes basic survival
topics, full color photos,
and instructions. It
is also packed with important
tips and trivia. It
also includes survival checklists
and quizzes to ensure you
have mastered each lesson
and will be able to adapt
to any extreme survival
situation. Worst case
scenario examples are also
included for your reference.
The other
type of survival training
that we offer is a customized
plan. Our master instructor
will work with you or your
team to ensure that you
learn the skills necessary
for survival situations.
This hands-on training
is one-on-one or team based,
and can vary in degree of
'difficulty'. Contact

these training programs.

Each custom training plan
includes the Wilderness
Adventures Survival
Manual on CD-ROM, pocket
survival guides, survival
kits, and other materials.
